Makeup brush production process
The complete process for making a makeup brush is as follows:
Step 1 Sorting hairs Workers remove the wrapped bristles and arrange them for later use.
Step 2 Weighing hairs Workers weigh the required hairs as the makeup brush heads according to the different sizes of the ferrules.
Step 3 Combing hairs The required hairs are combed until they all go from messy to silky.
Step 4 Shaping hairs According to the customers’ needs, workers put the combed hairs into the corresponding moulds. Then, workers shake and force the hairs into general shapes.
Step 5 Tying hairs Workers tie the shaped hairs tightly with string to avoid deforming them during the follow-up steps.
Step 6 Adjusting the wool shapes Workers manually adjust a small amount of hair from the wrong place to the right position.
Step 7 Shaving Workers shave off the redundant part of the hair root with razors.
Step 8 Putting the brush heads into ferrules Workers load the qualified brush heads into the ferrules with tools and cut the string that ties the hairs.
Step 9 Pressing the ferrules into the desired shapes Workers squeeze the side near the hair root with pressing ferrule tool. The degree of extrusion depends on the actual needs, that is, the degree of the pressing ferrule depends on their uses.
Step 10 Cleaning up the inverted hairs Workers clean up the inverted hairs surrounding the ferrules with a knife.
Step 11 Measuring Workers measure the length of the external brush heads with a vernier caliper and adjust it timely if the caliper is wrong.
Step 12 Dispensing Workers drop an appropriate amount of glue into the ferrules to fix the brush heads so that it does not slip out of the ferrule.
Step 13 Air drying After dispensing, workers let the ferrule stand to dry.
Step 14 Trimming the hair After thoroughly air drying, workers use a smallspatula to trim the shape of the brush head so that the head looks round and natural.
Step 15 Scraping the ferrules Workers use tools to scrape off the inner edge protrusions on the side of the ferrules to make the brush handle attach to the ferrule more tightly.
Step 16 Pouring glue Workers drop an appropriate amount of composite glue at the connection of the ferrule and the brush handle for later use.
Step 17 Assembing handle Workers insert the handle into the ferrule and adjust them to find the right depth and angle.
So far, a complete makeup brush has been finished.
